Features
These specially designed sponges, used during the cleaning process of a fire damage restoration job, effectively remove smoke and soot from hard surfaces before wet cleaning begins.
For inspection: Wipe on wall. You will notice black residue on the sponge if a surface has soot/smoke damage. If grey or brown residue is found, the surface is likely just dusty. Dust alone will not blacken a sponge.
For cleaning: Wipe on wall in single stroke motion. Do not rub the sponge back and forth on the wall. Always use a clean portion of the sponge to avoid smearing build-up that is already collected on the sponge.
These are DRY chemical sponges so do not use any cleaning solution while using the sponges.
