This replacement part connects to either a 1/4" or 1/8" strainer body. The inline strainer is housed inside the strainer body and is secured in place by the Inline Strainer Adapter. Normally a male or female quick disconnect fitting is screwed onto the 1/4" MPT end of the strainer body and a 1/4" Male Hex Nipple Fitting is screwed into the Inline Strainer Adapter 1/4."
