   A resident in an assisted living home spilled a big bottle coke on the carpet a couple of days ago without telling the housekeepers. By the time I was called there to try to clean it saturated the carpet (glue down, no padding) and turned into a sticky mess. I was very skeptical but nevertheless decided to give it a try, so followed the procedure described in the video on Sun-Belts website -saturated with spotter, flushed with the spot lifter, saturated with water again and extracted with the spot lifter. I used the spot lifter before mostly on pet stains and knew it is very good but to tell you the truth I never expected such a spectacular result - the stain was gone completely !
