Features
Versatile Smoke Wash is a superb odor counteracting additive which may be added to water based wall and fabric cleaning solutions.
Directions:
Deodorizing Laundry: For general fire related smoke odors add to wash cycle at the rate of 2-4 oz. per load. Overuse may cause foaming.
For best results in removing smoke odor and smoke discoloration:
1. Soak overnight in cold water to which Laundry Detergent, Unsmoke Degrease All and Smoke Wash have been added. This method has proven to be highly effective in the removal of smoke discoloration and odors.
2. Pre-Spot stain with a dilute solution of Degrease All (1 part Degrease All to 3 parts water). Add 1-2 cups of Degrease All to the wash cycle.
3. Launder normally.
To remove protein related smoke odors (I.E. burned meat, poultry, etc.) from launderable garments:
1. Run a test load with Smoke Wash.
2. For better results it may be necessary to substitute ODORx Double O Protein Odor Counteractant.
For use in foam cleaning upholstered furniture or as a textile preconditioner: Add several ounces of Smoke Wash to a bucket containing one gallon of warm water, agitate with brush or natural sponge to create a foam. After removing dry loose soil from upholstery by vacuuming, etc; test clean a small inconspicuous area to determine adverse effects. Apply foam to a small area with a natural sponge or a soft brush. Recover excess foam by wiping with clean white terry cloth towels or wet vacuuming.
