| Application / Use | Pre-test in an inconspicuous location. 1 part solution to 3 parts water. Spray onto damp, cleaned carpet at a rate of 1 gallon per every 400 sq. ft. Spray using a light, even stroke, then repeat 90 degrees to first application for even coverage. Brush or rake to spread protector evenly and align carpet pile for drying. Keep people and pets off carpet until dry. For dry carpet, mix 1 gallon water to one gallon FourGurard Carpet Protector RTU (1:1 dilution), apply 1 gallon per 200 sq. ft. Do no spray on furniture, hard surface floors, or walls. Immediately wipe off over-spray with a damp cloth. Do not spray on furniture, hard surface floors, or walls. Immediately wipe off overspray with a damp cloth. Sprayer Recommendations: Pressure sprayer equipped with 8004 jet at 35-45 psi. Sprayer dedicated to FourGuard Carpet Protector application is recommended to prevent accidental mixing with other chemicals. Flush sprayer with warm water to clean. DO NOT STORE PROTECTOR IN SPRAYER. |
